Preston Greene, Jr.
Our Founder
Greene's Funeral Home was founded in September 1956 by the late Preston Greene, Jr. and Dorothy D. Greene. Mr. Greene attended Atlanta School of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Georgia, where he received his degree in Mortuary Science. Mr. Greene was a licensed funeral director and embalmer for the states of North and South Carolina. Mr. Greene served as Manager, Funeral Director, and Embalmer until he died in 1986.

Dorothy D. Greene (1930 - 2019)
Co-Founder
Mrs. Dorothy D. Greene was the co-founder of Greene's Funeral Home. Mrs. Greene was a retiree with over thirty years of experience in the public schools. She will be missed by all who loved her.
