Mr. Brandon A. Hargrove entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in Dillon, South Carolina. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 2:00 P. M. from St. Matthew African Methodist Episcopal Church in Hamer, S. C. with Rev. Johnnie O. Coe, Officiant. Burial will follow in the St. Matthew A. M.E. Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at 1556 West Main Street Extension in Dillon, S. C.

OBITUARY

Brandon Alexander Hargrove was born on October 25, 1987 to Larry and Hattie Hargrove. He departed this life on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 in Dillon, South Carolina.

Brandon attended the public schools of Dillon County. He was musically gifted and had aspirations of a professional musical career. He was a member of St. Matthew African Methodist Episcopal Church in Hamer, South Carolina.

Preceding him in death were: paternal grandparents Alexander and Lula Hargrove; maternal grandfather Perry Lighty, Sr.; one aunt Katie Hargrove; four uncles John R. Hargrove, Alexander Hargrove, Roy L. Hargrove, and Thomas Smith.

Brandon leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: his parents Larry and Hattie Hargrove; children- Ethan and Elijah Covington of Dillon, South Carolina, Brisyn Hargrove of Latta, South Carolina and unborn son Bradyn Hargrove; Sisters - twin Shannon Hargrove, Rachelle Lighty, Lula Salmon, and Theresa McLaurin all of Dillon, South Carolina, Deveta and Tamara Huggins of Hempstead, New York, April Brigman of Florence, South Carolina and Lovie Page of Rowland, North Carolina; Brothers - Derrick (Demetrice) Lighty of Florence, South Carolina, Darren Davis, Marcus (Leslie) McCall and Larry Brigman all of Dillon, South Carolina; Aunts- Maxine Manning, Lula Smith, Mary Hargrove, Willena (Calvin), Nancy Hargrove, Shadie Hargrove, Annie Lighty, and Yvonne (James) Avant all of Dillon, South Carolina; Uncles -James (Mary) Lighty, Perry (Geraldine) Lighty, Willie (Mary) Lighty, Jerome (Brenda) Lighty, and Sam (Daisy) Lighty all of Dillon, South Carolina, Curtis (Shelva) Lighty of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, and David Lighty of San Diego, California; loving grandmother Louise Lighty; Special family and friends - S. Biko Covington, Delon Moore and JeQuasia Galloway. In addition, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins friends who loved him dearly.
