Mr. Willie Williams, Jr. son of the late Willie Williams and Rosie McKinnon Williams, was born on January 29, 1924 in Little Rock, South Carolina and departed this life on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the home of his son.
Willie started his Christian journey at Cedar Grove Methodist Church where he served faithfully until he relocated to live up north.
Left to cherish fond memories are his son James Williams (Mary Liza) of Dillon, South Carolina, four grandsons: Messieurs Thomas Williams of Colorado Springs, Colorado, James E. Williams, Jr. (Jeanne) of Sarasota, Florida, James B. Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina and Rodney Manning of Lancaster, South Carolina; one granddaughter Kelly M. Domnia of Franklin, Vermont, one special cousin Josie L. Johnson McKinley of Rowland, North Carolina and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Willie Williams entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 27, 2019 at the home of his son. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. from St. Luke United Methodist Church in the Oakland Community of Hamer, South Carolina. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Rowland, North Carolina.
The family will receive friends at 611 East Roosevelt Street in Dillon, South Carolina.
