Sarah Ann Pompey Stackhouse, daughter of Ruby Lee Ivey and the late Delmo Pompey was born on July 7, 1948 in Dillon, South Carolina. She departed this life after a long illness on Monday, May 07, 2007 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Dillon, South Carolina. She leaves to cherish loving and joyful memories a devoted husband Robert E. Stackhouse. A devoted mother Ruby L. Ivey of Brooklyn, New York; five children Tanya L. Stackhouse Bowens of Plainfield, New Jersy; Derrick E. Stackhouse and Isaac L. Stackhouse, both of Tampa, Florida; Edward (Sharon) McEachern of Laurinburg, North Carolina. And Reuben D. Stackhouse of the home; One son-in-law Mike Bowen. Five sisters: Vermell Pompey, Cynthia Ivey and, Gloria Cullum all of Brooklyn, New York, Betty Vasquez of Plainfield, New Jersy, and Janice McEachern of Tampa, Florida; four brothers; Belano Pompey (who preceded her in death ), John Ivey, Jr. of Savannah, Georgia, James Brown (who also preceded her in death ), and Roy Lee Brown; three aunts, Bernetha Taylor, Lena Evans and Mary Joyce Pompey all of Dillon, South Carolina and a host of nieces , nephews, relatives and friends.
