Sister Sallie Mae Moody, daughter of Frank Burden Moody and Mother Willie Mae Grice Moody, was born March 18, 1941 in Dillon, SC. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 after a brief illness. Sister Moody attended the public schools of Dillon County and graduated from Dillon High school. She retired from Russell stover, Marion SC after 30 plus years of faithful service. Sister Moody, at an early age was baptized in Jesus name and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. She joined New Bethel Apostolic Church, Dillon, SC, under the leadership of Elder Carrie Anders; and remained under the leadership of Elder Robert Rich and the present leadership of Elder Oliver Lane and Elder Glenn Lane. Sister Moody was a faithful member and served in many capacities. She was a member of the Missionary chior, Usher Board, Senior chior and a Junior Sunday School Teacher. She lived a christain life and was loved dearly by her family, church family, and many friends. Sister Moody was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Daniel Moody. She leaves to cherish endless memories: two sisters, Arnetha Moody and Beatrice Ford of Dillon, SC; two brothers, Frank Moody of Dillon, SC and John Moody of Florence, SC; one brother-in-law, Michael Ford of Dillon, SC; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
