Patrick Nicholas Rogers, the son of Nicole Davis-Rogers and Patrick Rogers gave up his earthly home at 2008 West Kirby Drive and went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 31, 2008. He was born March 5, 1998 in Marion County, South Carolina. Nicholas attended McLaurin Elementary School in Florence, SC. Nicholas' hobbies included listening to music, playing with trucks and motorcycles, and riding four wheelers. Most of all Nicholas enjoyed playing with his cousins. Nicholas was a very outgoing, energetic young man who was loved by everyone who came in contact with him. God called one of his angels home to eternal rest. He fought a good fight and he finished his course. A beautiful life came to an end as he died, as he lived, everyone's hero. Our hearts are saddened, but we rejoice in our spirit; because he has gone home to be with the Lord. Nicholas leaves to cherish his memory, his loving parents; Patrick and Nicole Rogers, one brother Patrell Rogers, a special god-sister Sabrina Davis; maternal grandmother Betty Eskridge; and paternal grandparents Robert L. Rogers of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Joyce Ann Rogers of Lake City, South Carolina; and a host of relatives and friends. Another Spirit has taken flight.
