Minnie Bethea, the daughter of the late Joe Jones and Mary Campbell of Dillon, South Carolina, and step daughter of Dee Campbell, who rasied her, was born on June 30, 1916. She went home to be with God so Saturday, July 29,2006. She was educated in the schools of Dillon, South Carolina. She graduated and furthered her studies in New York City. She met and married the late Joseph Bethea in 1940. There were no children born to this union; however, Delores McCray was her adopted daughter. She cared for many children in her lifetime. She was always lending a helping hand to those who needed her. She was truly a great family member. Minnie leaves to mourn a sister: Annie Mae Jones of Dillon, South Carolina. Dedicated cousin/niece/God daughter: Pat Brooks of Baltimore, Maryland, adopted daughter: Delores McCray , two other cousins/nieces: Joanne Davis, and Yvonne McNeil of Baltimore, Maryland. Also, a large host of relatives, cousing, nieces, nephews and friends.
