Mrs. Maggie Cabbagestalk entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Carolina's Hospital System in Florence, S.C. Friends may call at 114 South 16th Avenue Apartment A in Dillon, S.C. Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Cabbagestalk will be Friday October 9, 2009. Services will be at 2:00PM at New Jerusalem Holiness Church in Dillon, South Carolina ( Newtown Community ). Burial will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery in Dillon, South Carolina. The Obituary Mrs. Maggie Davis Cabbagestalk, a native of Dillon County, Dillon South Carolina. Mrs. Maggie was born February 9, 1930 to the late Mr. Johnny Davis and Mrs. Mary Graves Fullard. She was the last of three siblings. One brother Mr. James Russell Davis and one sister Mrs. Sarah Huggins both proceeds her in death. Two children in which also preceded her in death. Mrs. Maggie D. Cabbagestalk was employed with Dillon School District 2 ( Gordon Elementary Cafeteria ) where she worked until she retired after 12 years. Mrs. Maggie D. Cabbagestalk was a member of New Jerusalem Holiness Church where she served faithfully until her health failed, then she began attending church with her daughter at Victory Tabernacle Fellowship Ministries. Mrs. Maggie D. Cabbagestalk was a prayer warrior who was faithful in her praying. Mrs. Maggie D. Cabbagestalk leaves to cherish fond and loving memories of her, three daughters Miss Doris Gail Cabbagestalk of the home, Mrs. Cynthia (Edward) McCall, and Mrs. Tammy (Tyrone) Swindler all of Dillon, South Carolina; three sons Mr. Ronald (Ann) Cabbagestalk of Dillon, South Carolina, Mr. Reggie Cabbagestalk of Norwich, Connecticut, and Mr. Tony Cabbagestalk of Columbia, South Carolina; twenty grandchildren, thirty two great-grandchildren, that she loved and cherished and was sold out for, and a godson Mr. Jamie Charles. One daughter-in-law Mrs. Roceta Cabbagestalk who preceded her in death. One sister-in-law Clara Cabbagestalk of Dillon, South Carolina and six sisters-in-law who preceded her in death.
