Mr. James D. Wirght, 70 of Dillon entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 5, 2011 in the McLeod Medical Dillon, SC. "For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. (2 Timothy 4: 6-7) James Dopth Wright was born, October 9, 1940 in Dillon County. He was the second son of the late Willie Bee and Marie Wright. He departed this life on Sunday, June 5, 2011 in the Pines Nursing Home in Dillon, South Carolina. James attended school in Dillon County. He was a kind and loving person to all who knew him, also determined to have his way. James joined Pine Hill A.M.E. Church at an early age and remained a member until his death. Left to cherish fond memories: one brother Willie (Luvenia) Wright of the home, one sister-in-law Geneva Wright of Dillon, SC; one aunt Annie Ruth Bethea of Dillon, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousing, and friends. Funeral services for Mr. James Wright will be conducted on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. from the Pine Hill A.M.E. Church in Latta, SC. with Rev. M. E. Mitchell officiating. Final resting place for Mr. James Wright will be in the Pine Hill A.M.E. Church Cemetery in Latta, SC. Viewing for Mr. James Wright will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in the Preston Greene, Jr. Memorial Chapel from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will recieve friends from 6-7 PM in the Preston Greene, Jr. Memorial Chapel in Dillon, SC. The family will receive friends at 1956 Green Acres Loop in the Riverdale Community of Dillon, South Carolina.
