James Arthur McAllister was born on April 25, 1955 to the late James & Hattie McAllister in Dillon County. He entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2016 at the Mcleod Hospice House in Florence, SC.

James joined Mt. Pleasant Church at an early age, and served on the choir.
