Mrs. Edith Brown, departed this life on Wednesday, May 15, 2006 in the Marion County Medical Center, Marion South Carolina. Mrs. Brown was educated in the public schools. She was married to Mr. Brunson Brown who preceded her in death. Mrs. Brown was a good devoted wife and lived a Christian life first at the Mill Branch A.M.E. Church in Pamplico, South Carolina before her husband passed away. Mrs. Brown did not want to be unaccountable for the Christian Stewardship so she joined Manning Baptist Church with her neighbor Mrs. Clara Boatwright, who carried her every Sunday morning to worship the Lord. After the passing of Mr. Brown, Mrs. Lauretha Hodge adopted Mrs. Brown and became her family. Mrs. Hodge daughters: Dr. Cheryl Warren and Attorney Audrey Hodge along with Mrs. Irene Page assisted in caring for Mrs. Brown. Left to cherish memories are Mrs. lauretha Hodge, Dr. Cheryl Warren, Attorney Audrey Hodge, Mrs. Irene Page, many dedicated neighbors and friends.
