Dr. Cicero C. Davis, Jr. died on Friday, October 7, 2011 in a Youngstown, Ohio nursing facility. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. Cicero was born in Dillon, South Carolina on November 19, 1928 and departed this life on Friday, October 7, 2011 in Youngstown, Ohio. Cicero was the son of the late Cicero C. and Annie General Davis. Cicero was educated in the South Carolina Public Schools. He graduated from Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina and later received his undergraduate degree from Claflin College in Orangeburg, South Carolina. Cicero served in the United States Army during the Vietman Era. After his discharge from the army Cicero taught in the South Carolina Public Schools. He was a music teacher and band director in Lake View, South Carolina for several years. Cicero was a gifted musician and went on to start his own band. He was known affectionately by his band members as "Kingcid." Dr. Davis was the brother of Mrs. Dorothy D. Greene. He was preceded in death by his father Cicero C. Davis, Sr., his mother Mrs. Annie D. Gibson, and his sister Mrs. Eloise D. McTeer
