Obituary

Mrs. Armener Brown, daughter of the late Armetus and Mary Blanche McCormick was born in Hamer, South Carolina on March 03, 1929 and departed this life on April 23, 2006 at McLeod Medical Center- Dillon. She was married to the late Andres Jr. Brown of Dillon, South Carolina. She wae educated in the public school system of Dillon County. At an early age she accepted Christ and joined St. Matthew A.M.E. Church. She was a faithful member at St. Matthew's Church, until she moved to Trenton, New Jersey. After returning back to South Carolina to live, she joined the Highway Church of Christ and was a faithful member there. Years later she joined True-Way Church of Christ. There were several jobs in which she was employed such as: house keeping, Veneer Mills but "Charlie's Restaurant" appeared to be her favored. because she was employed there for twenty seven years. She is survived by eight children: James Brown and Linda Jackson, both of Trenton, New Jersey; Don Brown, Mary Brown, and Paul Brown of Dillon, South Carolina; Dennis Brown of Trenton, New Jersey; Jimmy (Tammy)Brown and Charles Brown also of Dillon, South Carolina; one sister Everlena Fletcher of Stamford, Connecticut, twenty one grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
