Finished Pouring

During this sensitive time, we look back on happier moments, with our loved one. Thouogh appreciated, no words of comfort can quiet the yearning for their presence. Precious one, in time of grief, know this; it's not the ending of a life, but the completion of the transference. Our freshly exterior is merely a container. And each container is unique in its makeup. Some are as gold, others as silver, clay, even glass. Still each bares precious contents.

For whatever reason, some containers develop surface imperfections, yet, that doesn't diminish the priceless value of the relics inside. In their absence, there is a reason why we so fervently remember even the smallest details or their stay here. There was divine purpose behind your involvement in their life.

As containers, one of our purposes in life is to hold and transport life's memories on to the next generation. Each engagement with them was an opportunity for them to pour a portion of themselves into you. Did you catch it? Of course you did. In this life, some containers pour quickly, while others pour quite slow. And when the container has fulfilled its task, the Master Potter simply places it back on the resting place.

So, as you ponder fond memories, some with smiles, a few with tears, remember...not only heaven, your loved one has gone deeper within your heart...Can you feel them? Surely you can. It's your duty to carry on the mixture of their and your contents through the next leg of life's journey. For as long as you exist, they have not passed away, they just finished pouring.
